TruVine began in Ardmore in January 2018 with a simple conviction: care should come from someone who actually knows you — not a call center.
To provide paraprofessional services to clients in their place of residence, thereby assisting them to realize their highest level of independence and quality of life. We are committed to providing quality care by staff members who recognize the value of the aged and physically challenged.

Teju Adegunwa
Teju’s love for home care started long before TruVine did — even before she had children. She had her sights set on nursing school, drawn to the work of caring for people in their most vulnerable moments. Life took a different path: raising three daughters on her own meant nursing school didn’t happen. But the pull toward caregiving never left.
In 2018, after losing her father, Teju found the push she needed to finally build something of her own. That loss became the motivation to give this work everything she had. She went on to earn a double master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Education, pairing her lived experience with the credentials to back it up. Today she brings more than 20 years in healthcare to every family TruVine serves.
The name TruVine comes from John 15:1 — “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.”
For Teju, it’s a reminder that good care, like a good vine, grows from something rooted and tended with care — not something rushed or manufactured. That’s still how she runs TruVine: every client treated like family, because to her, they are.

TruVine is licensed in Pennsylvania for both skilled and non-medical services, and fully compliant with state licensing requirements and the Health Care Worker Background Check Act. We are a BBB Accredited Business and a member of the Pennsylvania Homecare Association.
